Meet the Kids: Naishka


Prior to being referred to The Robert F. Kennedy Children’s Action Corps’ Detention Diversion Advocacy Program (DDAP) for an assault and battery charge, Naishka was a victim of bullying and had suicidal ideations.  Through working with our program youth advocate, receiving clinical care, and participating in community service, she gained self-confidence, became comfortable interacting with peers, and was successful in school.  She received her diploma last year and is now serving in the military
