Victoria, was a shy, three-year-old who had not spoken a single word. Her mother, Rebecca, enrolled in Raising A Reader to help her. Through RAR, Victoria grew her vocabulary and confidence in reading. She made personal connections to the stories, which motivated her to communicate more. Now in kindergarten, Victoria will pick out a bi-lingual book and read it in Spanish and English and she is at the top of her class in reading.
