Empowering Kids Through Opportunity: How ConfiKids Grows With Rodman for Kids

Every child deserves the chance to explore their passions, develop confidence, and unlock their full potential. But for many families, financial barriers prevent access to enrichment opportunities like sports, arts, and theatre programs. That’s where ConfiKids steps in—and with support from Rodman for Kids, their impact continues to grow.

Founded in 2017 by Rachel Calabrese, ConfiKids was built on the belief that when we invest in kids, we empower them for a lifetime. But empowering kids starts with empowering the organizations that serve them. That’s why Rodman for Kids provides resources, fundraising opportunities, and strategic guidance to its Charity Partners—helping them sustain and expand their reach.

“Half of the kids we fund each year come right from the Rodman Ride,” Rachel shared. Since joining the Rodman for Kids Charity Partner Program, ConfiKids has grown from a $10,000 Ride for Kids fundraising goal to $100,000 annually, allowing them to increase access to programming, fund more scholarships, and provide kids with experiences that build confidence and resilience. The Rodman Ride for Kids is more than a fundraiser—it’s a movement to empower organizations like ConfiKids to dream bigger and serve more kids.

“I don’t think we would be here where we are today, 8 years in, without the guidance of Rodman for Kids,” Rachel said.

Rodman for Kids believes that when we empower nonprofits, we empower the thousands of kids they serve. ConfiKids is a perfect example of this—turning financial support into real opportunities that shape young lives.
