Board Highlight: Spencer Collier

Meet Spencer Collier, Rodman for Kids Board Member and Chair of our Marketing Committee! We had the privilege of sitting down with Spencer to learn more about his connection to our organization and WHY he continues to support us!

Spencer’s entrepreneurial journey began at 17 when he launched a tech startup in the Berkshires, later relocating to Cambridge, MA in the late 90s. Bypassing traditional higher education, Spencer credits his success to his knack for seeing opportunities and his unwavering work ethic. Today, he stands as the founder and CEO of Getfused, a full-service creative marketing agency committed to fostering lasting relationships and delivering impactful results for their clients.

“Rodman for Kids provides equality of opportunity for nonprofit organizations.”

Spencer’s affiliation with Rodman for Kids ignited about 8-9 years ago, following an encounter with Don Rodman at a Big Sister Boston event. He expressed gratitude to Don for supporting the Ron Burton Training Village, marking the start of what he fondly calls a “love affair” with the organization. Since then, Spencer has been an active supporter, drawn by the organization’s mission to empower nonprofits through professional development and other supportive initiatives. His ongoing involvement is fueled by his belief in Rodman for Kids’ ethos of providing “equality of opportunity” for nonprofits to thrive and fulfill their missions.

Fun Fact: Spencer celebrates two birthdays! Originally born in the Philippines on February 17th, the time difference meant his grandmother received the news on February 16th, hence, Spencer joyfully observes both dates.
