Young Professionals Board

Are you looking to join a group of Greater Boston young professionals (ages 25 – 38) with a similar passion and interest in supporting youth-focused organizations that create a better future for kids?
Then the Rodman for Kids’ Young Professionals Board (YPB) is for you!

Each member of the YPB will fundraise for Rodman for Kids, helping our programs grow and thrive, as well as gaining opportunities to network with one another.

  • The fundraising minimum for each YPB member is $1,500
  • The membership term takes place from April – October
  • Each member of the YPB will participate in the 34th Annual Rodman Ride for Kids (our annual cycling event) that is taking place on Saturday, September 21, 2024 in Foxboro, MA.
    • You can ride the 25 or 50 mile route, OR participate as a virtual participant and do something on your own!
      • The 25 mile route does not require training, but definitely plan to train for the 50 mile route!
      • If you do not have a bike, we will provide a bike for you as well as a Rodman for Kids bike jersey.
      • If you are a virtual rider, we ask you to volunteer day of the Ride at the finish line to cheer on our riders coming in!
      • After you finish your ride, enjoy some brews and burgers at the barbecue!
  • There will be meetings once a month from May – October. We ask that each member attends 75% of these meetings.*
    • These meetings will consist of get togethers at our office, breweries, and fun spots in and around Boston!
  • You will have countless opportunities to network and connect with likeminded individuals!
  • You will have the opportunity to attend any/all Leadership
    Development Community sessions offered to our Charity Partners, giving you access to free professional development opportunities from experts in a variety of fields.

  • If you reach your $1,500 goal, you and a guest will be invited to our Celebration for Kids gala, taking place on Saturday, December 7th at the Seaport Hotel in Boston! The evening will consist of live music, LOTS of dancing, an open bar, and various cuisines from the top chefs in Boston!

  • You may also receive occasional ticket offers to live theatre performances in Boston, MA and Providence, RI.
