Jerezz is a young man whose dream of becoming a National Guard helicopter pilot seemed too far out of reach. In the heart of Roxbury, Jerezz found hope and guidance through Friends of the Children – Boston, a Charity Partner and mentorship organization. Around the Rodman for Kids table, Friends of the Children met fellow Charity Partner, Above the Clouds, and a serendipitous collaboration was born.

Jerezz was given a once in a lifetime opportunity to fly a plane over Boston through Above the Clouds’ Dream Flight Program. But the collaboration didn’t end when the plane landed.

Above the Clouds took it a step further and connected Jerezz with a flight school, where at 18, he is now fulfilling his dream of becoming a helicopter pilot. This incredible opportunity was possible only because these two organizations are part of the Rodman for Kids Charity Partner community.

To quote a staff member of Friends of the Children Boston, “This is only possible because Friends of the Children Boston and Above the Clouds are both a part of the Rodman for Kids community.”
