We were recently able to talk with one of Rodman for Kids’ newest board members, Nicolette Shaughnessy, to discuss why she participates in the Rodman Ride for Kids!

Nicolette, who works in Channel Sales Solutions at Amazon Business,  joined the Rodman for Kids’ Board this year because she believes in our vision that every child deserves access to the programs, resources, and opportunities they need to dream, grow, and succeed. When asked why she participates in the Ride for Kids, Nicolette shared that she wants “to give every child an opportunity to be their authentic and whole self.” Since 1991, the Ride for Kids has raised over $150 million, with 100% of funds raised directly impacting the youth at our 42 Charity Partners. Rodman for Kids covers the cost of the event so that these organizations keep 100% of the funds they raise!

At Rodman for Kids, we believe that a better future begins with investing in the youth in our communities. This includes supporting education, health, social, and creative development. Rodman for Kids shines a light on possibilities and potential, creates pathways, and provides access to a better future for kids in need of support so that they can live an authentic life.
