Above the Clouds brings joy and hope through the wonder of flight to children and teens who are seriously ill, disabled, under served, or facing other serious adversity.

Apprentice Learning

Apprentice Learning provides real-world work experiences for middle school students in Boston. We leverage career exploration to teach skills and to nurture dreams.
Established in 2012 to prepare young people for high school, higher education, and ultimately, the workforce, Apprentice Learning teaches positive work habits and engages young people in apprenticeships that match their interests. Our programs help students gain a sense of purpose, early work experience and knowledge and a clear understanding of the link between career and academic success.

Asperger / Autism Network

Asperger/Autism Network works with individuals, families, and professionals to help people with Asperger Syndrome and similar autism spectrum profiles build meaningful, connected lives.
We do this by providing information, education, community, support, and advocacy, all in an atmosphere of validation and respect.

Big Brother Big Sisters of Central Mass

The Mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Mass/Metrowest is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever.

Boston Community Pediatrics

Boston Community Pediatrics (BCP) is a nonprofit pediatric private practice, the first of its kind in Massachusetts. BCP’s mission is to bring equity to pediatric healthcare by providing all families with comprehensive, high-quality care that puts the patient at the forefront of its medical delivery model.
BCP provides patients with multiple ways to directly access their primary care provider through traditional medical office visits, telemedicine, and mobile medical services. BCP also provides comprehensive, prevention-oriented healthcare, case management services, and integrated behavioral health services to all patients, regardless of income. This new model of care will ultimately yield outcomes of improved health and a better life for patients.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Dorchester inspires young people from diverse circumstances to realize their potential by providing opportunities for growth to become contributing and responsible members of the community.

Boys & Girls Club of Metro South nurtures strong minds, healthy bodies and community spirit through youth-driven programs in a fun environment.

Catholic Charities has continued its mission of building a just and compassionate society rooted in the dignity of all people for more than 100 years.


ConfiKids provides funding for enrichment, recreational, sports and arts programs for children who are experiencing financial hardship.

Families First

Families First authentically engages parents in parenting education and parent leadership programs in order to help parents unlock their own power for the benefit of their family and community.

Family Nurturing Center

Family Nurturing Center works to strengthen families and reduce child abuse and neglect in Boston neighborhoods. Our free programs—home visits, playgroups, parenting education, and family support—build parents’ nurturing skills and knowledge of healthy child development and connect families to resources and each other.

Forsyth Institute

The Forsyth Institute is the only independent, not for profit research organization in the US dedicated to the understanding of the important connections between oral and overall health and wellness.
ForsythKids school-based, mobile, oral health program continues our century long mission of providing oral health care to underserved children at risk in the Greater Boston area and throughout the State.

Friends of the Children – Boston

Friends of the Children – Boston creates generational change by engaging children from high-risk communities in twelve years of transformative mentoring relationships.
Research has shown that the single most important factor for building resiliency in children who face the highest risks is a caring and consistent relationship with an adult. To that end, we’ve developed a unique and revolutionary model that ensures quality, consistency and commitment to the highest-risk children. We actively seek out and select the highest-risk children and provide each of them a “Friend” for their entire childhood, from kindergarten through graduation, 12 ½ years, no matter what.

Hockomock Area YMCA’s Cause is our Community. Serving thousands of children every day and responding to changing community needs, we are for Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility. We are also the proud home of the Marilyn Rodman Teen Center located at our Invensys Foxboro Branch.

Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters provides children who lack positive adult role models with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships with caring, responsible adults that help to change their lives for the better, forever.


KEY’s mission is to assist troubled youth and their families with developing positive life skills and life experiences so that they may pursue productive and rewarding lives. Using a variety of residential and non-residential program models, Key provides direct services each day to over 600 youth and families across Massachusetts and Rhode Island.


Live4Evan believes that parents shouldn’t have to choose between putting food on the table and being by their child’s side while they undergo heart surgeries. That is why L4E is dedicated to providing temporary housing to families who need to travel into the Boston area to treat their children who have been diagnosed with congenital heart disease.

Mass Mentoring Partnership

Mass Mentoring Partnership (MMP) is fueling the movement to expand empowering youth-adult relationships across Massachusetts.
MMP serves more than 250 mentoring and youth development programs statewide supporting more than 33,000 youth in mentoring relationships. We assess programmatic needs and organizational capacity, as well as provide customized strategies that empower youth, families, and communities.

Mazie Foundation

Mazie Foundation sponsors one-on-one community-based mentoring programs for at-risk Framingham and Waltham High School sophomores, and awards lap top computers for achievement of college research goals and $2,000 scholarships upon graduation from high school.

One for Health Foundation

Sportsmen’s Tennis & Enrichment Center

The Sportsmen’s mission is to build leaders on the court, in the classroom and in the greater community by providing academic, wellness and social development programs alongside recreational and competitive tennis instruction for youth and adults.

TextLess Live More

TextLess Live More is a student-led, peer-to-peer, national awareness campaign with a mission to end distracted driving, prevent tragic crashes and save lives.
Our pledge: never go digital behind the wheel. TextLess Live More was founded by friends of Merritt Levitan, an 18-year-old girl who lost her life on July 3, 2013 to a distracted driver who was texting behind-the-wheel. Merritt died because of 4 seconds of texting. She is the inspiration behind our mission.

The Boston House

Since 1979, The Boston House: Hope and Healing for Children with Cancer has served as a home away from home for children with cancer and their families.
As an essential part of their overall care, the House provides its guests with no-cost and convenient accommodations in a safe and comfortable home-like setting. Here, children, families, and caregivers find comfort and support among staff, volunteers, and other families facing the life-changing realities of childhood cancer and other life-threatening hematological illnesses.

The Sports Museum

The Sports Museum provides at-risk youth with programs that focus on teamwork, determination, courage, responsibility, and other elements of character that are so important to success in sports – and in life.

Think : Kids

Think:Kids is a program in the Department of Psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital that teaches a revolutionary, evidence-based approach for helping children with behavioral challenges.
Through training, support and clinical services, we promote the understanding that challenging kids lack the skill, not the will, to behave well – specifically skills related to problem solving, flexibility and frustration tolerance. Unlike traditional models of discipline, our approach avoids the use of power, control and motivational procedures and instead focuses on teaching at-risk kids the skills they need to succeed.

Trinity Boston Connects

Trinity Boston Foundation’s mission is to unlock opportunity and change the odds for the youth of Boston. Our programs create and support life-changing relationships by building strong, safe and healthy communities and by empowering youth to access opportunities and beat the odds.
Programs include: Trinity Education for Excellence Program which focuses on values, and character and leadership development; Trinity Boston Counseling Center which recognizes that mental health care is essential to reducing rates of youth violence and incarceration; and Sole Train: Boston Runs Together, a free, non-competitive running and mentoring program for Boston youth.

UMass Memorial Medical Center – Children’s Medical Center provides exceptional child-centered care close to home for Central New England families.

Wildflower is dedicated to serving children and families who have experienced the loss of a parent. By providing the gift of camp and enrichment opportunities for children, as well as consistent support and respite for parents, families are able to strengthen their resilience and create positive opportunities for the future.


The Wonderfund is a private non-profit organization that works on behalf of children engaged with the MA Department of Children and Families. We provide comfort and dignity to children in traumatic situations and enrich childhoods that have been impacted by abuse and neglect.
